Block Tales Tier List

This tier list ranks cards by practical boss value, not by how flashy the animation feels.

Chapter Adjustments

Chapter 1 likes compact damage. Chapter 2 raises status value. Chapter 3 raises recovery. Chapter 4 rewards role separation. Chapter 5 makes protection and Cassie survival the center of the build.

A tier list is a map, not a command. If your party keeps losing at the same danger turn, swap for that mechanic even when the replacement card sits lower on the general list.

FAQ

Why are defensive cards ranked so high?

First clears usually fail from one bad turn, so recovery and prevention are often more valuable than maximum damage.

Should I copy the S tier exactly?

No. Use S tier as a starting point, then swap for the chapter mechanic in front of you.
